RONALDO TARGET END TO MINI-LEAGUE DROUGHT

Five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo definitely has eyes on getting back amongst the goals once again in the Premier League when his Manchester United side take on West Ham United at Old Trafford on Saturday. Cristiano Ronaldo was an angry man when he was taken off with around twenty (20) minutes to go during the league win over newcomers Brentford earlier this week in what was a rescheduled match.

Cristiano Ronaldo was not able to score while he was on the pitch against the Bees on his return from a muscle injury and the Portugal international felt he had time to get at least one goal only for him to be subbed off for club skipper Harry Maguire. Manchester United were leading 2-0 when Ronaldo left the pitch thanks to the second half goals from Anthony Elanga and Mason Greenwood. English substitute Marcus Rashford scored a third goal for United shortly after coming on around the same time as the Ronaldo substitution before Brentford striker Ivan Toney scored a consolation goal for the London team with five minutes remaining for a 3-1 scoreline.

RONALDO TO RECEIVEPAOLO ROSSI

Juventus talisman Cristiano Ronaldo will receive the maiden Paolo Rossi award for his exploits in the Italian Serie A last season. The Portuguese international would be awarded the accolade for finishing as the highest goalscorer in the Italian top flight last season.

Cristiano Ronaldo emerged as the Capocannoniere at the end of the 2020/21 Serie A season after netting 29 times. He finished as the topscorer in the Italian Serie A ahead of other challengers like Inter Milan striker RomeluLukaku, Fiorentina attacker DusanVlahovic, Atlanta forward Luis Muriel and many more.

RONALDO EQUALS GOALSCORING RECORD

Portuguese national team skipper Cristiano Ronaldo has equalled the record for the most goals scored in men’s international football after he found the back of the net twice in the 2-2 draw between his team and France in a Group F clash at the Euro 2020 tournament.

Ronaldo came into the game with 107 goals on the international scene after a return of three goals in the first two games at Euro 2020. He scored two goals in the 3-0 thumping of Hungary in the first game of the tournament for European champions Portugal. The Portuguese team scored all the three goals in the final six minutes of the match with the Hungarians. Cristiano Ronaldo added a brace to the opening goal from left-back Raphael Guerreiro.

RONALDO ANONYMOUS IN BIG JUVENTUS DEFEAT

Juventus attacker Cristiano Ronaldo has been heavily criticised this season for his ineffectiveness in the big games this season and this continued during the huge clash with rivals AC Milan in the Italian Serie A on Sunday.

Cristiano Ronaldo was the man who took the most  criticism on the back of Juventus’ early exit in the Champions League as he was largely anonymous in both legs against Portuguese giants FC Porto. Ronaldo failed to score in the two legs as his team exited the competition via the away goals rule at the hands of Porto.

Although it seems more impossible than possible, the rumors linking Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo with a return to his former club Manchester United continue to linger on. RONALDO GIVES CONDITION FOR MADRID RETURN

Cristiano Ronaldo has given his condition for a return to Real Madrid as his future at Juventus continues to be up for discussion. The Juventus player will have one year left on his contract with the Italian champions in the next few months. Cristiano Ronaldo will have a year left on the four-year deal that he signed when the Portuguese international captain joined the club in the summer of 2018. The 36-year-old was signed to deliver the Champions League title at Juventus but he has not been able to deliver that target in his three seasons with the Old Lady. As a matter of fact, Juventus have not gone beyond the quarterfinals since they signed Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo and Juventus were eliminated in the quarterfinals by Dutch Eredivisie giants Ajax Amsterdam in the Portuguese international’s first season in Turin. Since then, Juventus have been knocked out by French club Lyon and Portuguese team FC Porto in the two seasons since the elimination at the hands of Ajax Amsterdam.

RONALDO LEADING SERIE A SCORING CHART

Cristiano Ronaldo is the man to beat in the race to win the Golden Boot Award in the Italian Serie A this season. The Juventus attacker has a reputation for finding the back of the net on a regular basis. Surprisingly, he has not won the Golden Boot Award since he became a part of the Italian football community in the summer of 2018. Cristiano Ronaldo signed for Juventus from Spanish La Liga outfitReal Madrid. Since he became a Juventus player, Cristiano Ronaldo has not won the Italian Serie A Golden Boot Award but this could change this season.


The Juventus talisman is leading the race to finish as the highest goalscorer at the end of the season. The Portuguese player scored twice last weekend during the home game with AS Roma to take his league tally to 16 goals this term. CRISTIANO RONALDO STILL TOPPING EUROPEAN CHARTS

Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo is still topping European charts. The Portuguese has fired 36 shots – the most in Europe’s Top Five leagues.


The 34-year old former Real Madrid star moved to Italy for a different experience last term. While he did not top the scoring charts, he was one of the top scorers. Despite his advanced age, he consistently kept on leading the chats in Spain. However, now he has to be rotated to assist in specific games and times in the season.

Cristiano Ronaldo endeared himself to many more during the UEFA award night when he spoke fondly of his greatest rival Lionel Messi. He said he was open to the idea of having dinner with Messi, even as they both lost the biggest award of the night – the UEFA Men’s Player of the Tear award – to Virgil van Dijk.

Ronaldo has always seen his moving around and yet being successful as a thing of pride. With Juventus’ continental success a priority this term, afterwards the Portuguese would likely be looking at his next move.

Cristiano Ronaldo Scored His 601st Goal

Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 601st goal and alongside destroyed the dream of Torino’s to win against Juventus on Friday. Torino’s dream to win against Juventus in nearly a quarter of a century was destroyed by Cristiano’s header.  After 84 minutes of the game, Cristiano scored a goal for his team and the score was drawn by 1-1 which left Torino on the 6th place and they have just three games left to play.

His 601st goal added another feather in his cap. He has worked very hard to reach this position and his presence in the team for which he plays is a morale boost for the team. After this match, Juventus, for the eight seasons have sealed the Serie A title, but for Torino, it’s not the same they have to play if they want to qualify for elite European competition.
